Freshman Seth Ritter of the Washington University in St. Louis men's swimming and diving team was awarded the College Swimming Division III National Swimmer of the Week.

Ritter won a pair of freestyle events in WashU's victory over Saint Louis University. His winning times in the 500 freestyle (4:36.81) and the 1000 freestyle (9:25.43) are the top marks in Division III.

Also earning College Swimming's independent selections of conference swimmer of the week honors were junior Brandon Lum and senior Nicole Zanolli of the women's swimming & diving team.

Lum's winning 200 butterfly time in the victory over SLU, 1:52.74, proved to be Division III's top mark this season.

Zanolli placed first in the 200 freestyle (1:56.60), earning one of two first place finishes for the Bears women in a dual meet with Saint Louis University. Only three other times in NCAA Division III have been faster, including one posted by Zanolli. She also posted the second fastest 500 freestyle (5:11.76) in Division III this year.
