Six Yellowjackets Garner Individual Wins at Buffalo State Meet

Eric Chang was a double winner and four other men won an event each as Rochester produced victories over Buffalo State College and Erie Community College on Friday evening.
 
The Yellowjackets outpointed Buffalo State, 126-97. Erie CC also competed, falling to UR 148-59.
 
Chang was first in the 200 IM (2:04.85) and the 200 backstroke (2:03.46). He swam on the 200 freestyle relay which closed the meet. With a significant points lead, Rochester swam the 500 freestyle and the 200 free relay as exhibitions. Chang's relay was timed in 1:30.70. The other swimmers were Erik Rosenkranz, Eric Feirouz, and Eric Sonheim.
 
Rochester's individual champions were Elliot Schwinn in the 1,000 free (10:29.59), Danny Aronson in the 50 free (:22.19), Feirouz in the 200 fly (2:02.84), and Eric Weidman in the 200 breaststroke (2:15.45).
 
The 200 medley relay of Connor Virgile, Arlen Fan, Paul Steve, and Danny Aronson was first in 1:39.99. Feirouz was second in the 200 free (1:48.08), Sonheim second in the 100 free (:50.18).
 
Rochester's 500 free swimmers – all in an exhibition performance – were Lee Stovall (5:06.02), Evan James (5:16.16), and Logan Worley (5:24.54).
 
Stephen Savchik was first on the one meter board (244.80). He dove the three meter board as an exhibition (204.75).
