From Washington University Athletics
The Washington University in St. Louis men's swimming and diving program celebrated senior day with a win against NCAA Division II Truman State University on Saturday at I.E. Millstone Pool in St. Louis.
The Bears combined for a total of 12 first place finishes which included an NCAA Division III B cut time by junior Brandon Lum during the 200 butterfly (1:49.77). Lum also paired with sophomores Peyton Wilson, Simon Deshusses and Chase Van Patten for the winning time of 1:35.13 in the 200 medley relay.
Nathenson also had a pair of first place finishes for the men in the one-meter dive (263.85) and the three-meter dive (249.97). Junior Kevin Van Cleave also had two first place finishes to his credit in the 200 breaststroke (2:06.64) and the 200 freestyle relay (1:25.79) with the combined efforts of junior Andrew Pek, sophomore Preston Bailey and Brown.
