Senior co-captain Steven Wu of the New York University men's tennis team earned Division III College Sports Information Directors of America (CoSIDA) First Team Academic All-District 3 honors, it was announced on Thursday, May 15. With the distinction, Wu automatically moves on to the ballot for consideration for CoSIDA National Academic All-America Team honors.

This is just the latest in a long line of academic accolades for the Hillsborough, NJ, native this season. A four-time NYU Intercollegiate Athletics Advisory Committee Fall and Spring Honor Roll member and three-time University Athletic Association (UAA) Spring Sport All-Academic honoree, Wu was also honored with the NYU Academic Achievement Award presented to graduating seniors with a 3.5 grade point average or higher.

On the court, Wu is one of the best Division III tennis players in the nation. Ranked #2 in the Northeast Region and #24 Nationally, Wu was recently selected to participate in the 2014 NCAA Division III Tennis Championship.
