CJ Kimbill of CWRU Named 2015 Men's Tennis Most Valuable Player

Junior CJ Krimbill of Case Western Reserve University was named UAA Men's Tennis Most Valuable Player as the All-Association Team was announced.

Krimbill finished 6-0 at the UAA Men's Tennis Championship, winning all three of his matches at No. 1 singles and with partner Louis Stuerke at No. 1 doubles. Krimbill did not drop a set in his three singles victories and came back from a 5-2 deficit in his first set of the tournament to win the next five games.

Nicolas Chua of Emory was selected as Rookie of the Year. After falling to Krimbill in his first match at No. 1 singles, Chua bounced back to take multi-set wins in the semifinals against Emory University and the third-palce match against Carnegie Mellon University. Chua and partner David Liu won all three of their matches at No. 3 doubles.

Head Coach Jay Tee and assistant coach Richy Gray of Chicago were named Coaching Staff of the Year for leading the fifth-seeded Maroons to a third-place finish.
