All 8 UAA Teams Ranked in ITA National Poll; Four Ranked Among Top Nine

All eight UAA teams are ranked in the 2014-15 Intercollegiate Tennis Association (ITA) Division III Top-40 poll.

Two-time defending UAA champion Washington University is the top-ranked Association team and one of four UAA teams ranked in the top-10. The Bears (5th) are joined by Emory University (6th), Case Western Reserve University (8th), and Carnegie Mellon University (9th) in the national top-10.

University of Chicago, led by Fall ITA Singles National Champion Nicolas Chua, is ranked 17th. NYU (30th), Brandeis University (31st), and University of Rochester (37th) are also ranked nationally.

15 UAA players are ranked in the ITA Singles Top-50. Joining top-ranked Chu among the top-five is Alex Ruderman of Emory, ranked fourth.

Five players from Washington earned a national ranking: Tyler Kratky (14th), Johnny Wu (26th), Ross Putterman (37th), Jeremy Bush (45th), and Kevin Chu (48th).

Joining Ruderman from Emory are Eric Halpern (13th), Rafe Mosetick (29th), and Ian Wagner (30th).

Abhishek Alla (11th), Will Duncan (41st), and Kenny Zheng (47th) are the ranked players from Carnegie Mellon.

Two Maroon classmates of Chua are also ranked with David Liu (27th) and Luke Tsai (49th) each making the rankings.

Four UAA doubles teams are ranked among the first 11 teams in the poll with Liu and Deepak Sabada of Chicago ranked fourth, one spot ahead of Ruderman and Wagner of the Eagles.

The Carnegie Mellon duo of Bryce Beisswanger and Yuvraj Kumar are ranked 10th, one spot better than Christopher Krimbill and Louie Stuerke of CWRU.
