Juniors CJ Krimbill (Scottsdale, Ariz./Desert Mountain) and Louis Stuerke (Overland Park, Kan./Blue Valley Northwest) stunned the top-seeded team in the nation in a thrilling three-setter tonight at the NCAA Division III Men's Tennis Doubles Championship Round of 16.

The duo dropped the first set, 6-4, to the No. 1 seeded combination of Aaron Revzin and Michael Solimano of Amherst College.

After reversing that result with a 6-4 win in the second set, Krimbill and Stuerke came back from a 3-1 deficit in the deciding set and eventually won 7-6 (7-4).

"We've been in the NCAA tournament for four years in a row now," said head coach Todd Wojtkowski. "The first two years, our boys lost 7-6 in the third set in the opening round. Now, finally, we have turned the corner and have done the doubles program proud."

Krimbill and Stuerke move into the national quarterfinals tomorrow to meet the winner of the match between Nick Cummins and Patrick Lipscomb of University of the Redlands and Tyler Carey and Evan Charles of University of Mary Washington.
