Case Western Reserve University seniors CJ Krimbill and Louis Stuerke defeated Luke Tercek and Luke Trinka of Bowdoin College in the quarterfinals of the 2016 NCAA Division III Men's Tennis Championships on Friday afternoon in Kalamazoo, Michigan.

Krimbill and Stuerke, the top seed in the draw, picked up a straight-set win for the second time in as many matches at the NCAA Championships, as the duo topped the pairing from Bowdoin 6-3, 6-4.  The win was the 16th-straight for the Spartans' top-doubles team, as Krimbill and Stuerke improved to 32-5 together this season.

It marked the second-straight season that Krimbill and Stuerke have reached the NCAA Semifinals, and the third-straight year that the Spartans have had a doubles pairing in the final four of the draw.  Krimbill teamed with former Spartan Eric Klawitter claimed the NCAA Division III Doubles Championship in 2014.

The Spartans' semifinal opponent will be Palmer Campbell and Hamid Derbani from Middlebury College, the fourth seeded pairing in the draw, who defeated Emory University's Scott Rubinstein and James Spaulding in three sets in their quarterfinal matchup.

The semifinal matches on Saturday are scheduled for 11:30 a.m., with the winning teams advancing to the finals at 2:00 p.m.  Fans can follow the action with a live video webcast at http://www.ncaa.com/liveschedule/ and live statistics at http://www.kzoo.edu/sports/live/ncaa/stowe/.
