From Case Western Reserve University Athletics
The No. 6 Case Western Reserve University men's tennis team returned to its winning ways with a 6-3 victory over No. 19 Gustavus Adolphus College at the 2016 Stag-Hen Invitational on Saturday morning in Claremont, California to conclude their spring break trip.
With the win, the Spartans are now 11-3 overall.

The No. 1 doubles team of seniors CJ Krimbill and Louis Stuerke was back in action with a 8-3 win over Gustavus' Andres Saenz and Mohanad Alhouni. With an 8-6 win for the Spartans at third doubles, juniors James Fojtasek and Phil Gruber defeated Mitch Elofson and David Hagberg to give the Spartans a 2-1 edge heading into doubles play.
Fojtasek and Stuerke picked up wins for the Spartans at second singles and fourth singles, respectively. Fojtasek outplayed Saenz in straight sets (6-1, 6-3) and Stuerke earned a victory over Elofson also in straight sets (7-5, 6-2). After winning the first set 6-1, junior Joshua Dughi dropped the second set 4-6. Dughi picked up his momentum in the third and rallied for a 6-0 win for the Spartans. Junior Kevin Dong also added a point for the Spartans defeating Tommy Entwistle 7-5, 6-4 at fifth sinlges.
