The Spartans, who finisehd a program-best third at the ITA Indoor event, jumped from 14th to sixth in the latest rankings, followed closely by Carnegie Mellon University at seventh.
Washington University, which finished third in last year's NCAA Division III Men's Tennis Championship, is ranked 10th in the latest ITA poll.
A sixth UAA team, Brandeis University, is also nationally ranked, sitting 27th, up one spot from the preseason rankings.
