The Emory men's tennis team captured its fifth straight victory on Wednesday, winning at NCAA D-II member Azusa Pacific.  The Eagles raised their spring record to 6-2 following a 5-4 decision over the Cougars who slipped to 8-3.

Trailing by a 2-1 margin after the completion of doubles, Emory received a strong effort by its singles contingent, capturing four of the six matches, with three of those come-from-behind outcomes.  Freshman Jonathan Jemison saw his overall record move to 16-2 (7-0 spring) after rallying for a 2-6, 6-4, 6-4 verdict over Christian Schmid at No. 2.  Freshman Adrien Bouchet nailed down his fifth straight win with a 3-6, 7-5, 6-2, win over Pascal Engel at No. 4. Junior Josh Goodman posted a three-set win at five singles while freshman Andrew Harrington rounded out the Eagles' singles winners with a straight-set victory at No. 6.
