Five UAA Teams Ranked in Top-Eight in Latest ITA Men's Tennis National Poll

Five UAA men's teams are among the top-eight in the latest Oracle/Intercollegiate Tennis Association (ITA) Division III Men's Collegiate Tennis Rankings, highlighted by top-ranked Emory University.

In the last poll before the UAA Tennis Championships, which begin on Thursday, the Eagles remained atop the poll. University of Chicago, Case Western Reserve University, and Washington University all finished 1-1 in matches between the teams last weekend.

The Maroons and Spartans maintained their rankings of fifth and sixth, respectively. The Bears jumped up seven spots in the national poll and are now ranked seventh.

Carnegie Mellon University is ranked eighth to round out the five UAA teams in the top-eight.

Brandeis University also made a big jump in the poll, moving up nine spots to 23rd.

Seedings for the UAA championship will be determined on Monday.
