Ian Baranowski and Masaru Fujimaki of Rochester Advance to ITA Regional Round of 16

Two members of Rochester's men's tennis team have advanced to the third round of singles in the Intercollegiate Tennis Association Northeast Regional Championships being hosted by Vassar College.
 
Ian Baranowski and Masaru Fujimaki both won in straight sets in first and second round play in singles. In the first round, Fujimaki defeated Ian Antonoff of Hamilton College, 6-2, 6-3. In the second round, he eliminated Nick Tong of Skidmore College, 6-2, 6-3.
 
Baranowski defeated William Persson of Stevens Institute of Technology, 6-4, 6-4 in round one. In the second round, he defeated Sammy Aronson of NYU, 6-2, 6-4.
 
Ben Shapiro was a straight set winner in dominating fashion in the first round. He defeated Will Morrison of Drew University, 6-0, 6-0. In the second round, Shapiro lost to Kai Yuen Leung of Skidmore, 6-3, 6-4.
 
Aaron Mevorach lost, 6-4, 6-1 to Pierce Cooper of The College of New Jersey in the opening round. Sam Leeman lost to Tristan Wise of RPI, 6-3, 6-3 in the first round as well.
