The No. 3-ranked Washington University in St. Louis men's tennis team opened the 2016 season with an 8-1 win over Rose-Hulman Institute of Technology Saturday at Kings Point Racquet Club in Belleville, Ill.

WashU improved to 2-0 with the win, while Rose-Hulman fell to 0-1.
