Emory University junior David Omsky and sophomore Jonathan Jemison emerged with the ITA South Region Doubles Championship Sunday afternoon in Sewanee, Tennessee.

The Omsky/Jemison pairing, unseeded heading into the weekend, defeated Alejandro Centurion and Davis Plummer of Millsaps College in the title meeting, 6-2, 6-4. Their first-place effort enables the duo to earn All-America honors for the 2016-17 campaign and propels them into the ITA Oracle Cup (formerly the ITA Small College Championships), Oct. 13-16, in Surprise, Arizona.

Earlier in the day, Omsky and Jemison bested teammates Aman Manji and Rex Serituk in the semifinals, 8-4.
