UAA champion Emory University is one of three Association teams headed to the 2017 NCAA Division III Men's Tennis Championship. Washington University and University of Chicago received Pool C bids in to the tournament field.

After receiving a first-round bye, Emory (17-4) begins action on Saturday, battling the winner of Friday's opening-round match between USA South Athletic Conference champion North Carolina Wesleyan (19-4) and President's Athletic Conference titlist Thomas More (14-5-2).
The victor of the Emory vs. NC Wesleyan/Thomas More affair moves into Sunday's third round to face either No. 22-ranked Sewanee (21-3), the Southern Athletic Association champ, or No. 29 Washington and Lee (16-6), winners of the Old Dominion Athletic Conference crown.
Over the past 27 years the Eagles have advanced to at least the quarterfinals on 25 occasions. Emory has earned a spot in the national semifinals in 11 of the past 15 seasons has won national crowns in 2003, 2006 and 2012.
This marks the ninth time in the last 10 seasons WashU has hosted regional play.
Wheaton College (17-7) and Rose-Hulman Institute of Technology (19-8) meet Thursday in the first round at 11 a.m., with the winner taking on host WashU Friday at 11 a.m. No. 26 Kalamazoo College (18-1) and No. 28 Kenyon College (13-10) will meet in the other second round match Saturday at 2 p.m.
The winners will meet in the Regional Championship match Saturday at Noon.
The Bears, who are headed to the NCAA Tournament for the 18th straight season, received an at-large bid to the NCAA Tournament after finishing second at the University Athletic Association (UAA) Championship. WashU has a 16-4 overall record.
WashU is making its 19th NCAA appearance as a Division III institution and 22nd overall. The Bears have advanced to the NCAA Quarterfinals 10 straight seasons and 13 times in school history. WashU has a 39-22 (.639) record in 18 trips to the NCAA Division III tournament, and won the 2008 NCAA Division III National Championship.
The Maroons are slated to travel north to Gustavus Adolphus College for a six-team regional scheduled to take place May 12-14. As the top seed, UChicago earned a first-round bye and will face either Coe College (25-5) or Grinnell College (18-9). Gustavus Adolphus (24-8) also received a bye and will face off with either University of Wisconsin-Whitewater (14-11) or Concordia University Wisconsin (20-6).
UChicago takes a 17-4 record and a No. 6 ITA national rankings into weekend action. The squad placed third at the UAA Championship in April. This marks the fifth NCAA postseason appearance for the men's team and third in-a-row. The Maroons reached the national semifinals in both 2015 and 2016.
