Daniel Levine Wins ITA Southeast Regional Singles Championship Over Carnegie Mellon Teammate Ray Boppana

The Intercollegiate Tennis Association (ITA) Southeast Regional Singles Championship was played at Carnegie Mellon University on Tuesday, October 3 with junior Daniel Levine (Highland Park, Ill./Boca Prep International School) facing freshman Ray Boppana (Boxborough, Mass./Acton Boxborough Regional) for the title. 

Levine and Boppana earned the championship appearance with semifinal wins on Monday, October 2 on the campus of the University of Mary Washington where the tournament was hosted. 
 
In the championship match, Levine defeated Boppana by a 6-1, 6-4 score. The junior will now play in the ITA Oracle Cup with the rest of the regional winners on Friday, October 13 through Sunday, October 15 in Rome, Georgia.
