Washington University in St. Louis sophomore Ethan Hillis picked up a straight-set victory in the semifinals of the consolation bracket of the 2018 ITA Division III Cup Friday in Rome, Ga.

Hillis posted a 6-3, 6-1 victory over Jake Grandson of Hamline University in his second match of the tournament.  

He takes on Chaz Downing of Carnegie Mellon for the Consolation championship Saturday at 9 a.m. (ET).
