University of Chicago track athlete Daniel Povitsky was awarded post-meet honors on Thursday in the wake of the 2014 University Athletic Association (UAA) Outdoor Track & Field Championships.

Povitsky received the Men's Most Outstanding Track Athlete honor. The senior runner won the 10,000 meters and the 5,000 meters on consecutive days thanks to dramatic pushes at the end of each race. He topped the field by nine seconds in the 10,000 meters (32:07.94) and by 1.12 seconds in the 5,000 meters (14:58.41).
