Maroons Participate in Benedictine Relays

In the final meet before the conference championships, the University of Chicago track and field team competed in the two-day Benedictine University Relays on Friday and Saturday.

The Maroon men took 13th out of 29 teams with 26 points scored. Benedictine won the men's title with 105 points.

The men's top performer of the day was senior Andrew Maneval in the shot put. Maneval's top toss of 15.56 meters clinched third place. Additionally, junior Will Ackerman placed fourth in the javelin (50.61 meters) and junior Obinnaya Wamuo was also fourth in the 400-meter hurdles (54.85).
