A pair of New York University men's track & field athletes competed at the West Point Twilight Meet, hosted by the United States Military Academy in West Point, NY, on Thursday, May 10.

Neil Saddler (1,500 meters) and William Lee (high jump) were the only two Violets to participate at the meet, which included mainly NCAA Division I student-athletes.  

Saddler posted a career-best time of 3:54.73 in his event, taking 20th place in a field of 31. It is the 34th-best time in Division III this season, as Saddler attempts to qualify for the NCAA Championships later this month.

Lee, who co-owns the NYU team record in the outdoor high jump (2.02 meters), tied a season best with his height of 1.90 meters. He finished eighth in a field of 13.

There was no team scoring at the meet.
