Carnegie Mellon University junior Jacob Schofel won the hammer throw to help lead the Tartans to the team title in a field of 15 teams at the Westminster College Invitational. His mark of 52.86 meters would rank 25^th in NCAA Division III this season (he is already ranked 20^th). Schofel recorded a career-best throw of 44.13 meters in the discus.
