From University of Chicago Athletics

The University of Chicago men's track and field team excelled at the Private College Invitational on Saturday with a second-place showing.

On the men's side, UChicago took second (98.5 points) behind Carthage (173 points). Junior Kevin On won the 3,000-meter race with a time of 8:59.64. Freshman Nicholas Nielsen earned the second Maroons victory of the day with a time of 2:00.38 in the 800 meters.
