Maroons Kick Off Season as Hosts of Phoenix Invitational

The University of Chicago men's track and field team began the indoor season on a high note with dominating performances as hosts of the Phoenix Invitational on Saturday.

In the team scores, the Maroon men were first of five teams with 221 points, with Aurora University coming in second at 140 points. 

On the men's side, UChicago captured nine event victories. Junior Temisan Osowa was a multiple winner when he swept the 60 meters (7.17) and the 200 meters (23.40). Senior Parker Tikson grabbed two victories in field events, which came in the long jump (6.15 meters) and the triple jump (12.74 meters).
