Benjamin Rogin Wins 55 Hurdles to Lead Emory at Sewanee Indoor Invitational

The Emory University Men's Track and Field team sent a small contingent of athletes to Sewanee University Friday afternoon for the Sewanee Indoor Invitational. The Eagles placed fifth at the meet with 30 team points.

Junior Benjamin Rogin posted Emory's lone first event victory at the meet, claiming the top spot in the 55m Hurdles. Rogin clocked in a personal-best of 7.85 in the finals to win the event. Sophomore Noah Elm was third in the 55m Hurdles at 8.49 while freshman Nathan Harper was eighth in a time of 8.86.

Junior Max Helfman added a pair of top finishes for the Eagles at the meet. Helfman finished second in the long jump with a mark of 6.26m and later added a fourth place showing in the 55m Dash, clocking in with a time of 6.74.
