Maroons Capture Team Title as Host of Margaret Bradley Invitational

The University of Chicago men's track and field team maintained its home dominance with a team title as host of the Margaret Bradley Invitational on Saturday.

The Maroon men were winners in six events. Junior Nathan Downey tallied two victories in the 200 meters (22.72) and the pole vault (4.56 meters). Sophomore Owen Melia won the 800 meters (1:58.08) and also ran a leg on the 4x400-meter relay (3:35.20) with junior Jacob Amiri, senior Jeremy Ferguson and freshman Joe Previdi.

Sophomore Jacob Gosselin grabbed the 3,000 meters (9:01.11) and junior Patrick LeFevre captured the 60-meter hurdles (8.72).
