From Washington University Athletics
The Washington University in St. Louis men's track and field team totaled six second place finishes during the Illinois College Alumni Classic on Friday evening.
Freshman Nick Matteucci, junior Michael Billington, senior Deko Ricketts and junior Elvir Sarajlic raced at the NCC Cardinal Classic during the distance medley relay. The group placed second in the meet with a time of 10:03.22 which ranks sixth in Division III.
Senior Everett Kleven recorded the eighth best height in all of Division III during his second place finish in the pole vault at the IC Alumni Classic. He finished the night with a height of 4.90m.
