From Washington University Athletics
The Washington University in St. Louis track & field teams competed at the I-55 Tri-Meet, with University of Chicago and host Illinois Wesleyan University, as the WashU men placed first at the Shirk Center.
The WashU men finished with a group leading 86 points while Chicago totaled 76 and Illinois Wesleyan scored 53.
Altogether the Bears men totaled seven first place finishes including sophomore Brandon Hutchison's 4.40m height in the pole vault. Sophomore Collis McKenzie also placed first for the second week in a row in the high jump with a personal-best 1.93m leap.
The WashU men's relay team of junior Eddie Wintergalen, junior Jason Singer, freshman John Harry Wagner and sophomore Jon Fleming scored a first place time of 3:30.50.
