Bears Claim First in DIII Portion of Terre Haute Double Dual

The Washington University in St. Louis men's track & field program totaled eight first place finishes in a field of three Division III teams at the Rose-Hulman Terre Haute Double Dual.

The men's team beat Rose-Hulman (47) and Manchester (28). The Double Dual also featured Division I Indiana State and Illinois State to round out the five teams in the double dual.

Ezugo Onejeme captured multiple first place finishes including the long jump (6.34m) and triple jump (13.42m). Also earning first place finishes for the men were Collis McKenzie (high jump – 1.95m), Nick Matteucci (one-mile – 4:20.18), Andrew Whitaker (60m Hurdles-8.58), Thomas Gales (800m-1:58.28), Eddie Wintergalen (200m-22.96) and the 4x400m relay (3:28.33).
