The University of Chicago men's cross country team finished second at the Elmhurst College Earlybird Invitational on Friday.
In the men's race, North Central College flew past the competition with 16 total points, taking eight of the top nine spots. The Maroons were second amongst the 13 teams with 54 points. Junior Michael Frasco was the top UChicago finisher in fifth place with a time of 19:31.1. Senior Renat Zalov was 10th in 19:41.0, and the duo of senior Kevin On (14th, 19:58.5) and sophomore Nick Nielsen (15th, 20:00.1) rounded out the top 15.
