From University of Chicago Athletics

In one of the biggest races of the season filled with top competition, the University of Chicago men's cross country team impressed at the University of Wisconsin-Oshkosh AAE Invitational on Saturday. 

Lake Breeze Golf Club played host to the annual meet that featured teams from 13 states and 26 nationally-ranked NCAA Division III squads.

The men's 8K race was similarly large with 45 teams and 419 runners. UChicago placed 14th with 374 points. The team winner was University of Wisconsin-Eau Claire with 99 points. Senior Michael Frasco ran a time of 25:04 to place 19th overall. He was closely followed seven seconds later by junior teammate Gareth Jones in 29th (25:11). Junior Timofey Karginov broke into the top 100 with an 86th-place showing in 25:49.
