The University of Chicago men's cross country team placed sixth at the University of Wisconsin-Parkside's Lucian Rosa Invitational on Saturday.

The Maroons were sixth of 12 teams at the invite with a team score of 165. University of Illinois-Chicago was first with 28 points. The men's 8K race featured 178 total runners. Sophomore Ansel Richards was the top UChicago racer with a 40th place showing in 27:32.8. The trio of junior Kirk Lancaster (27:38.1), junior Michael Stubna (27:40.1) and senior Corey Okinaka (27:41.0) bunched together to take spots 48 through 50.
