Maroons Finish Second of 13 Teams at St. Francis

The University of Chicago men's cross country team placed second at the University of St. Francis Invitational. The Maroons were the runner-up out of 13 teams in the field with 39 points. Host St. Francis earned the team win with 28 points.

Ryan Cutter made an impressive collegiate debut as the freshman was UChicago's top finisher in the 5K with a sixth-place showing. He crossed the line in 15:29.3. Fellow freshman Jordan Olson was close behind in eighth in 15:37.6. Junior Jacob Gosselin (15:40.3) and sophomore Ralph Patejunas (15:43.9) took ninth and tenth, respectively.
