Rochester's first four finishers were just 21 seconds apart for the Yellowjackets at the NCAA Atlantic Regional Championships hosted by Houghton College on Saturday afternoon.
The Yellowjackets placed all five scorers in the top half of the 290-man field and they were separated by less than 31 seconds. As a team, UR accumulated 589 points, finishing in 20thplace out of 42 schools.
Nate Conroy was the individual leader at 26:25.9. He finished in 101st place.. Daniel Allara was the second person through the chuts (108th) in 26:31.9. Ryley Robinson was third (120th, 26:42.9). Andrew Faulstich was fourth (26:46.7, 125th).
The fifth scorer was Ivan Frantz (26:56.5, 135th place). Rochester's displacers were Hunter Phinney (27:15.8, scored in 152nd place, and Christopher Dalke (27:32.9, scored in 166thplace).
