From University of Chicago Athletics

Sophomore Ryan Cutter who earned his first All-American finish, crossed the finish line in 20th place to lead UChicago – who was in its first national meet since 2015 -- to a 12th-place finish at the NCAA Division III Men's Cross Country Championship.

That placing marks the second-best ever finish by the Maroon men, who took ninth in 2005.

With Cutter leading the way for the men, first-year Henry Myers nearly broke the Top 50, placing 52nd in the 8K race with a time of 25:08. Next were Chase Gardner (123rd, 25:44), Andrew Kates (146th, 25:51) and Sam Craig (195th, 26:07).

Rounding out the men's scorers were Ansel Richards (228th, 26:26) and Tim Koenning (257th, 26:56).
