Chicago Performs in Elite Field at Wisconsin-Oshkosh

Saturday's KollegeTown Pre National cross country meet attracted the deepest group of talent in NCAA Division III. The field included 71 schools, nearly 1,800 runners and a combined 34 nationally-ranked squads.

Despite muddy conditions, the University of Chicago men's team finished ninth out of 50 teams. University of Wisconsin – Oshkosh served as host of the annual event.

The men were led by first-year Henry Myers, who placed 28th overall in a time of 25:45.8. Sophomore teammate Ryan Cutter was close on his heels in 33rd, crossing in 25:51.6. Other top finishers included sophomore Chase Gardner (77th), junior Joe Previdi (81st) and senior Ansel Richards (95th).
