Bridget Rafter Joins NYU Coaching Staff

Bridget Rafter has been hired as an Assistant Coach of the New York University softball team. She will assist in recruiting and film breakdown, while primarily working with the corner infielders.

Rafter comes to NYU after a successful playing career at Susquehanna University. In her four-year career, she recieved First-Team All-Landmark Conference honors and was a member of the Landmark Conference Championship team back in 2013.

"Bridget will be a great asset to NYU softball," said Head Coach Now-Allah James "Her experience as a Division III softball player and her knowledge of film will help further develop our program." 

Rafter also accumulated coaching experience as an Amateur Softball Association (ASA) softball clinic instructor.

A 2015 graduate of Susquehanna with a Bachelor's Degree in communications, Rafter has previously been recognized as a National Fastpitch Coaches Association (NFCA) Division III Scholar-Athlete.

"I'm very excited to join the NYU community and to being a part of Coach James' staff." Said Rafter. "Together I look forward to help take the program to the next level."

Rafter is a native and resident of Highlands, NJ.
