Scottie Todd of Brandeis Adds Second Consecutive All-New England Nod

Brandeis University softball sophomore pitcher Scottie Todd of Tampa, Florida, has earned third-team All-New England honors as selected by the National Fastpitch Coaches Association (NFCA).

Todd earns third-team All-New England for the second-straight year. She's also been a two-time second-team All-University Athletic Associationhonoree. Todd went 6-8 in the circle and posted a 1.52 ERA in 101.1 innings pitched, as she allowed just 22 earned runs and 40 total. Todd struck out 52 batters and walked 20. She finished second in the UAA in ERA after leading the league as freshman, and ranked 39th in all of Division III. Todd was fourth in the league in innings pitched and fifth in victories.  She tossed seven complete games this season, including a 5-0 shutout of NYU on April 20. Todd also blanked Fitchburg State, 7-0, on April 11. She enters her junior season next year with a 1.47 career ERA as she now owns the two lowest single-season earned-run average marks in school history.

Todd is a 2016 graduate of Strawberry Crest High School.
