First-year pitcher/second baseman Sage Scheiwiller batted .692 (18-for-26) with 10 runs scored and threw the first no-hitter in NYU program history. She tossed a five-inning no-hitter on Sunday with seven strikeouts in a 9-1 Violet win over Baruch College. Scheiwiller finished 5-for-7 in the doubleheader sweep of Baruch with four runs scored and three runs batted in. She recorded five hits and scored four times in a sweep of State University of New York at Old Westbury, and went 4-for-4 with a double and two runs scored in the Violets’ 9-5 win over Montclair State University.
