First-year infielder Dakota Damiani batted .545 (6-for-11) with three runs scored, two doubles, and two runs batted to help lead NYU to the ECAC Division III Metro Championship title. She recorded two hits in all three Violet wins, doubled twice in a 5-0 victory over University of Rutgers-Newark on Saturday, and scored twice in a 7-5 championship game win over Farleigh Dickinson University-Florham.
