Megan Dawe and Kaitlyn
Read of the New York University women's basketball team
were each named to the All Met Division III Women's College
Basketball Second Team on Monday, April 14.
The Met Basketball Writers Association (MBWA) honors the
Metropolitan area's top players and coaches in all Divisions.
Sophomore co-captain Dawe and freshman Read led the Violets attack
all season long, and now combine these honors with the pair of
First Team All-University Athletic Association (UAA)
honors they earned earlier this year.
On top of that, Read also earned a few rookie awards from
the Women's DIII News and D3Hoops.com, highlighted
by a Northeast Region Rookie of the Year honor.
