The New York University women's basketball team defeated St.
Joseph's College-LI 85-40 on Tuesday night, November 25, in
Patchogue, NY.
The Violets (5-0) came into their matchup with the Golden Eagles
(1-4) ranked #13 by D3hoops.com and #14
by USA Today, who each released their national polls
earlier on Tuesday.
NYU controlled the contest from the opening tip and wase led by an
extremely balanced scoring effort. Overall, all 16 players on the
Violets' roster saw time on the court, with 13 playing at least 10

"The defensive energy was really good from the start," said
NYU Head Coach Lauren Hall-Gregory. "I think once
we settled in offensively in the second half, we got a lot of
contributions from everyone who stepped on the floor. I'm glad that
everyone got a chance and made an impact."

In addition, NYU dominated off the bench, outscoring the Golden
