From Brandeis University Athletics

The Brandeis University women's basketball team used a terrific rebounding effort and two strong individual performances from juniors Maria Jackson (20 points) and Paris Hodges (15 points, 12 rebounds) to pick up their third-straight University Athletic Association road victory, 69-65, at the University of Rochester tonight. The Judges improve to 12-9 overall, 5-5 in the UAA, while the #9-ranked Yellowjackets fall to 17-4, 7-3 UAA.

  • Rochester got within four in the final minute thanks to a trio of three-point possessions – two traditional three-point plays and a trifecta – but the Judges made just enough free throws to keep the home team at bay and pull off the upset.
