Megan Dawe of NYU Finishes Career as WBCA Honorable Mention All-American

Megan Dawe of New York University's women's basketball team was honored as an All-Americans for her performances during her senior campaign.

Dawe was recognized as All-America Honorable Mention by the Women's Basketball Coaches Association (WBCA). The senior captain also helped lead her team to the second round of the NCAA DIII Championship this past season, helping the Violets amass a 19-8 overall record, including 7-7 in the UAA.

The Santa Clarita, CA, forward was one of NYU's premier scorers, leading the team in field-goal percentage (52.6 %) and free throws made (110) this past season. Meanwhile, Dawe was fourth in field-goal percentage and third in made free throws in the UAA. Over her four years wearing purple and white, Dawe has cemented herself as a prolific player on the offensive side placing second in Violet history in field-goal percentage (52.7 %) and seventh in total points (1,413).
