To start the 2nd quarter, Deming nailed a three pointer to give UR its first double-digit lead of the game.  After the Polar Bears again trimmed the lead to six, it was two more threes, this time from Guerrieri in the corner to put the Yellowjackets up by 12.  For the remainder of the half, UR would maintain the 10+ point lead, heading to the break up 40-24.

The Yellowjackets would quickly respond, getting eight straight points, netting 3-pointers from Kaminsky and Brynn Lauer to regain a comfortable 15-point advantage.  Overall on the night, UR hit 10-23 from long range while the Polar Bears made just 3-10 attempts from behind the arc.

Ohio Northern would get as close as eight points with four minutes left in the fourth quarter after a Lauck 3-pointer, but the Yellowjackets connected on their free throws down the stretch, cruising to the 13-point win.

Besides Deming, Leslie and Guerrieri, Lauer finished with 11 points, 7 rebounds and 5 assists while Kaminsky and Kayla Kibling each added seven points each.  For ONU, Dirksen finished with nine points while Carly Thomas, Karissa Steffas and Angela Tesny each scored six.  The Yellowjackets held a big advantage on the glass, outrebounding Ohio Northern 49-35, including a 14-6 edge on the offensive boards.
