UAA champion Washington University will be joined in the NCAA Division III Women's Basketball Championship by University of Rochester, Carnegie Mellon University, and NYU, all of whom received at-large bids to the tournament.
The Bears and Yellowjackets will each host a four-team regional. Washington (20-5) will host Greenville (20-7) in the first round with the winner to meet the winner of the matchup between University of Wisconsin-Whitewater (19-7) and Bluffton College (25-2).
Rochester (20-5) will host Johnson & Wales University (24-3) in the opening round with the second-round matchup to feature the winner of that game and the winners of the game between Stockton College (21-6) and Clarkson University (22-5).
Carnegie Mellon (19-6) will travel to Hope College (26-1) in the first round. The winner of that game will face the winner of the Ohio Northern University (22-4)-Denison University (23-4) contest.
NYU (18-7) will travel to Maine to place Lehman College (20-7). The winner of that game will meet the winner of the matchup between Westfield State College (20-7) and host Bowdoin College (20-6).
