Emory University sophomore Ashley Oldshue was recognized for her fine 2016-17 campaign by D3hoops.com, earning Second Team All-South Region accolades.

The 6-foot-2 Oldshue was selected as a Second Team All-South Region honoree by D3hoops.com

A starter in all 25 Emory games, the 6-foot-2 Oldshue led the team and stood fifth among University Athletic Association players in scoring with a 16.5 points-per-game average. A double-figure scorer in the squad's last 22 games (24 on the season), she ranked as the Eagles' top scorer in nine games and tallied 20 or more points on five occasions.  A First Team All-UAA selection, Oldshue was successful on 55.4 percent (150 of 271) of her field goal attempts, good for third place on the conference ladder, 31st in the D-III ranks (through Mar. 11) and fifth on the school's seasonal chart.

Efficient from the charity stripe as well, she finished fifth in the league with an 81.0 percent effort at the foul line, converting a school-record 111 free throws in 137 opportunities. The team's leading rebounder in 11 outings, her per-game average of 7.1 placed sixth in the UAA.

Emory closed out the season with an overall ledger of 15-10.
