Yellowjackets' Alexandra Leslie Named D3Hoops.com All-American For Third Consecutive Year

University of Rochester senior center Alexandra Leslie earned her fourth consecutive national honor from D3hoops.com when she was named to the organization's 2017-18 Women's Basketball All-America Team. She is a native of Lancaster, PA and an alumnus of Manheim Township HS.
 
The team was announced over the weekend, in conjunction with the NCAA Division III Final Four played in Rochester, Minnesota.
 
Leslie was named a Second Team All-American by D3hoops.com. The website selects four teams of five-players each plus five additional players as honorable mentions. On Thursday evening, the Women's Basketball Coaches Association) named Leslie as a First Team All-American. The honors from both organizations affirm her as one of the top 10 women's basketball players on the Division III level this year.
 
As a first-year in 2014-15, Leslie was named the D3hoops.com East Region Rookie of the Year as well as the Division III National Rookie of the Year. In her sophomore season, after helping Rochester advance to the Sectional Finals (aka Elite 8), Leslie was named the University Athletic Association Co-Player of the Year, and a First Team All-American by D3hoops.com.
 
Last season, she was the East Region Player of the Year (an award she also won in 2015-16) and a Second Team D3hoops.com All-American as Rochester reached the second round of the NCAA Division III playoffs.
 
In her senior season, she earned First Team All-Region honors (third straight year) in addition to the All-America honor. Rochester advanced to the Sectional Finals again and finished 24-5.
 
Over her four-year career, she has earned nine post-season All-America honors through the D3hoops.com announcement on Saturday.
