University of Chicago women's basketball player Taylor Lake was selected as a Third Team All-American by D3hoops.com on Tuesday night.
A senior forward, Lake led the Maroons in numerous categories. She scored 14.1 points per game to go with 69 assists, 42 steals and 25 blocks. She shot 48.2 percent on field goals and was second in rebounding at 5.8 boards per game. In the school's career records, Lake is third in points (1,351), fourth in field goals (514), seventh in free throws made (247), ninth in blocked shots (82) and tenth in rebounds (589).
Lake played in 105 games with 82 starts. The Maroons posted an 83-24 cumulative record over the past four years (.776 winning percentage).
