The Washington University in St. Louis women's golf team claimed the Olivet College Labor Day Tee-Off for the third-straight season after firing a 311 Sunday at The Medalist Golf Club in Marshall, Mich.

The win was the first for head coach Ellen Port and the 28thtournament championship in school history.

WashU finished the two-day event with a 617 (306-311), which was 29 strokes better than second place DePauw University (646). Illinois Wesleyan University (672), St. Mary's College (696), Olivet College (699), Franklin College (734) and Ancilla Community College (1,089) rounded out the seven-team field.

"I think each player goes away from our first victory happy that the team won but not completely satisfied with their own individual performance," Port said. "There are so many lessons to learn and relearn when it comes to golf – we learned lots this weekend and had fun doing it."

WashU had four of the top-five finishers in the field. Freshman Chloe DiPetrillo paced the field in her first collegiate meet and claimed medalist honors by seven strokes with a two-day total of 148 (73-75). DiPetrillo led the tournament in par 3 scoring (2.88, -1), par 4 scoring (4.00, even), birdies (five) and pars (24).

Senior Connie Zhou (78-77, 155) and junior Samantha Han (76-79, 155) tied for second place, while junior Jessica Wibawa was fifth with a 160 (79-81). All four were named to the all-tournament team.
